Wood is the key element for the production of pallets. The production companies within the group handle wood as economically as possible, for instance. After all, wood is an everlasting raw material if handled sensibly. In the Guideline for Packaging and Packaging Waste, packaging producers are obliged to recycle a proportion of the packages and packaging. To the pallet industry this means in concrete terms that 15% of the wood must be reused.We participate in groups representing the interests of wood: the Group always takes the lead in preservation of forests, complying with the Guideline for Packages and Packaging.
Probos
The objective of Probos as an independent organisation is to collect facts and present them for discussions in society at large about forests, as a way of initiating new developments. Probos' objective also is to provide supporting services to assist other organisations that focus on the interests of forests in being able to (sustainably) fulfil their social role.View website
